April 12, 2023 Cleaning off my desk is the first thing that is needed when it’s time to get serious.  The 12”x12” space that is ready seems a little scary since I usually work in about a 4”x4” space.  It’s like a bare canvas.  Gathering scraps, wire, and beads will mess it up enough so that I’m comfortable.  New bracelet ideas, woven and embellished, are in the photo, and the first pouch in a series being tried out. Changing the “ID badges”, as my husband calls them, into pouches was a thought that came at the Fair last year.  Several people have asked if the ID badges were pouches, so we’ll see how it goes.  The final thing I’m working on right now is a bunch of porcelain beads that will fit on a stainless steel choker.  The holes need to be bigger than those on a cord.  That project is going on at the kitchen table.  The Magnolia tree in the backyard is blooming.  Yeah!
